St. Gabriel's is a young mission serving residents of Beaverton and Hillsboro. This project included construction of a 7,600 square foot church building which houses the worship area, administrative office, and education / meeting space for the community.

The sitework included complete development of 3 acres to Washington County standards, complete with drainage, overflow basins, and wetlands. An 88-space parking lot with an additional 40 future spaces was also part of the scope of work. Construction type of the building is concrete slab on grade with wood frame structure. Exterior is board and batt style siding. All concrete, wood frame, and finish work was performed by Schommer & Sons crews.

Schommer & Sons become involved in the project at the conceptual stage. The project went through several stages of design modifications and value engineering prior to construction. We were able to work with the architect and owner during this process to help the project become a reality.
