MENUCHA Retreat and Conference Center
Construction of a cluster of four buildings at the MENUCHA Conference Center, which is located in the Columbia River Gorge, on the historic Meir Estate in Corbett, Oregon. The 7,500 square feet of buildings were designed to nest into the gorge walls of the Conference Center.

Facility use includes conference meeting rooms and semi-private overnight guest quarters. Construction was wood frame; glue laminated roof structure, with cedar lap siding on the exterior. All foundation, structural, and finish work was completed by Schommer & Sons crews. Interior natural finishes included solid core four-panel doors, wood trim and base. Construction was completed over an 8-month period with little or no impact to the ongoing operation of the conference center.
"Repeatedly displayed both professionalism and integrity, always accompanied by an obvious clear concern for the persons with whom you were working. These buildings are quality work and you should know that I will continue to mention your name with a strong endorsement to anyone that asks"
