The Comcast Cable Communications Call Center project was an interior tenant improvement with no change in the building type, construction, or occupancy. The project encompassed an area of 41,854 SF of open office space furnished with state-of-the-art low-wall cubicles, private offices and conference rooms, and upgrades to restrooms.

To delineate managers from Call Center operators, ceiling-height gypsum wallboard partitions installed down the main spine of the floor space created private offices and conference rooms. These offices have relites and door entries on either side for access into the Call Center areas. Breakrooms were built on either end of the open floor space that included vinyl composition tile floors and custom-built cabinetry. Conference rooms and training rooms were included with high-tech electronic systems. All the restrooms were renovated and a new ADA-compliant restroom was finished with colorful ceramic tile. Overall upgrades to the mechanical and fire alarm systems were completed. Electrical power, data and lighting upgrades were also performed. The open Call Center received a new carpet tile floor and new acoustical lay in ceilings. The job was awarded on May 5, 2003 and work was completed by July 20, 2003.
