Schommer and Sons is the authorized distributor and installer of RESINPAVE™ and ROAD OYL® in the Western Region of the USA and beyond!

The binder for RESINPAVE™ is a resin modified emulsion called ROAD OYL®. ROAD OYL® is manufactured from renewable resources which are harvested on a sustainable basis. ROAD OYL®'s tree-based ingredients, pitch and rosin, are produced as co-products of the forest and paper products industries. RESINPAVE™ is made with this highly stable, non-ionic, non-petroleum based emulsion and an appropriate local aggregate. The pavement takes on the color of the aggregate and becomes an eco-friendly alternative to concrete and asphalt paving.

Benefits are gained throughout the lifecycle of RESINPAVE™ :

Since the ROAD OYL® emulsion is cold applied it is not necessary to incur heated storage, transfer and transportation costs associated with hot applied asphalt applications.
Run-off from freshly applied RESINPAVE™ contains no regulated Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC) or other hazardous components unlike asphalt which can exceed permit levels of VOCs.
RESINPAVE™ does not add color to the pavement therefore the finish color will reflect that of the aggregate used. This creates a natural look preferred by many over asphalt.
